Showering babies!

I am a very lucky pregnant woman to have 2 showers in a week! My sweet friend Renee organized a shower with some of my friends - a great way to celebrate before life changes so dramatically! Huge thanks to Renee for organizing the shower and to Leila for opening her gorgeous home!

We played some funny, silly shower games - here are the girls trying to create the best diaper out of toilet paper!





Here, Renee is asking people to suggest good and bad baby names (boy/girl) and believe me, there were some shockers! For the record, we will not be using LaFawnda, Nebuchadnezzar, Worthy or Norbert.



Our little one was spoiled with some fabulous gifts - some cute clothes and accessories as well as lots of things to make mummy and daddy's life easier. Let me say that I am well-prepared to face poopy diapers (pooey nappies) and spit up (puke).... at least practically if not emotionally! Bring it on!


I also received some special Kiwi gifts (thanks, Laura and Andrea!), including Milo... a lifesaver for pregnancy comfort cravings!
