Snow day in Nashville!

February came and went with a fabulous number of weekends with Grant home: three in one month (that must be a record!)
That means we have also been enjoying our traditional 'Saturdays with Grant home' breakfast (fresh banana pancakes with natural yogurt, strawberries and maple syrup - YUM)... this is supposed to be a rare treat that accompanies the rare treat of a Saturday together! A couple of Saturdays ago we enjoyed an additional rare treat... SNOW on the ground!

Our neighbors (Alan & Suzan) were out so we made an evil snow monster for them to come home to. It was meant to be charming but looked a little sinister. The snow stuck around for a couple of days.

It's amazing what can happen in two week - Spring seems to have arrived very early along with daffodils and robins. My favorite season usually only lasts a couple of weeks before being stifled by Southern heat and humidity. We might be spoiled with a long spring this year!
